Hi KH23! We recommend reaching out to Epson to verify SCMS-T is still required as it is not supported on Samsung 2021 Soundbars. SCMS-T was launched in 1987 and became generally obsolete once the MP3 audio format became mainstream as it was no longer an essential feature. Samsung soundbars are compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth audio devices; the information you are reading from Epson may be outdated. I hope this helps. ^Tim
