“there is an echo when it is connected to tv. Seems like sound from sound bar is not quite in sync with tv volume .. it is connected with optical cable that was sent with bar”

• Hi beachnut, Make sure your speaker settings on the TV are set to External Speaker. If you are hearing an echo your TV could be trying to play audio from the TV and Soundbar at the same time. ~Samsung Solutions

• If you’re not using the soundbar with a Samsung tv, make sure your tv volume is all the way down. That should eliminate the echo.
