“Hi, I have an older TV with standard HDMI ports, not HDMI-arc and no optical port. Will this work? I have tried another brand with HDMI-arc and it did not work for me.”

• Hello LisaOC, The HW-B650 Soundbar will be able to connect using HDMI, but you will need to use the remote from your soundbar instead of only using the TV remote to control both. ~Samsung Solutions

• Have run into this situation in the past. When coupled with a Samsung TV with no Arc connection, you will need to utilize the OEM remote to operate the soundbar.

• I was not able to get it to work using standard HDMI ports. The sound bar would only work if I used the optical port or HDMI-arc port.
