“Can you disable the auto power down feature? I'm using optical connection and it doesn't perform a wake-up of the soundbar when the tv comes on.”

• The auto power on or off is NOT selectable on this model. It actually powers down when on in some cases forcing you to find the remote to restart. Terrible.

• You can check your TV settings. If you set output for Soundbar, than you can use auto power on and off function.

• Hi evanestal, The auto power-down feature cannot be turned off, but check to make sure that your Auto Power Link feature is turned on. Connect your soundbar to your TV with an optical cable. Set the soundbar to D.IN mode by pressing Source on the remote or soundbar. Note: On 2020 (T models) and later, set the source to BT Ready. Press and hold the left direction on the direction pad on the remote for more than 5 seconds or until Auto Power Link appears on the soundbar display to activate or deactivate Auto Power Link. This feature should be turned on by default but might have been accidentally turned off. ~Samsung Solutions
