“Hi! I purchased the Samsung HW-Q600A. My Samsung TV does not have a HDMI (ARC) port. However, it does have a HDMI port. Can I setup the sound bar through the HDMI IN port on my TV? Will I still get the Dolby Atmos sound effects?”

Hi Schneiderbc! The HW-Q600A features both an HDMI input and HDMI Output. This allows you to connect an external device direct to the soundbar, then the soundbar will pass both the video and audio through to the TV's HDMI input. With this type of connection, only the audio from the connected device will play through the soundbar, any devices connected direct to the TV will not pass audio to the soundbar. Alternatively, you may be able to utilize the digital optical audio or Bluetooth wireless audio connection allowing all sound to pass from the TV to the soundbar. I hope this helps. ^Tim
