Love my Soundbar!

It was very easy to install and setup. There are some complaints about the bass level from the subwoofer in reviews, however I only found this to be noticeable in a very large room without great acoustics.

The sound bar was a easy setup with fiber optics. It compliments the looks of our TV, and the use of the TV remote to adjust the volume is an added plus.

Q: QuestionHow can the HW Q600A support Dolby Atmos/DTS:X without having eARC support? From what I've read online, the big advantage of eARC over ARC is that it supports those higher bitrate formats.

- A:Answer I think what Tim from Samsung is saying that with the HW Q600A, you can get a single Dolby Atmos (or DTX:X?) source connected to it through the HDMI in port. I think that for soundbars with eARC like the HW Q700A, you can connect multiple Atmos/DTX:X sources to the TV and send the sound to the soundbar through eARC. Correct?

- A:Answer Hi Momcos! Yes, by using the "Woofer" button on the remote, you can adjust the subwoofer volume. Push the button up or down to adjust the level of the woofer to -12 or between -6 to +6. To set the woofer volume level to 0 (Default), press the button in instead of up or down. ^Tim

Q: QuestionI have an older Samsung TV (2012 model), has HDMI and currently have a Firestick connected. How can I connect the soundbar as the HDMI port on the TV is already used by the Firestick. Can I connect the Firestick to the Soundbar and the out to TV?

- A:Answer If you only have 1HDMI input on your television, this particular sound bar has 2. 1 for the ARC and another one that just might work for your fire stick just try it both ways.

Q: QuestionHi! Will a source connected by Optical cause the soundbar to auto power-on when it starts playing? I'd like to connect a Chromecast Audio dongle via Optical and I hope that streaming music to it will make the soundbar power on. Thanks!

- A:Answer Hi Ernie! You can certainly connect the soundbar to your TV via Bluetooth, however, for the best audio quality and user experience we suggest using the included HDMI cable. This will provide the best audio quality without delay or lip sync issues, you will also be able to use the TV remote to adjust the volume of the soundbar, rather than needing to use both remotes. ^Tim
