“Would this sound bar work with a Sony television that has a usb port but will not bluetooth?”

• It should work with the tv, i have mine hooked up via USB however, I use an HDMI to USB adapter

• It could work with the Sony , you can connect it with a optical cable. That's how I connected mine. It works great!
