“In the manual it says there are 5 modes: normal, game, adaptive, surround and 3d (i think these are close) but when i use the mode button, i can only select between game pro, and adaptive?”

Hi JERRODBUG! Many issues that are software related can be resolved by re-initializing the Soundbar. While the set is on, press and hold the Vol+ and Vol- buttons on the Soundbar for about 6 seconds.
