• Everything I've read says HDMI Arc is the best way. My results bear that out. Great sound system.

• HDMI is critical and especially E-ARC! E-ARC offers the best connection for sound.

• HDMI always… or Wi-Fi in this case is also an option because it is capable of Dolby atmos over Wi-Fi

• Hi Joblue, If your TV has the input we recommend using HDMI connecting from the eARC port on the HW-Q750B Soundbar to the eARC port on the TV. ^Andrew
