• Hi Wired. The HW-Q850D Soundbars wireless rear speakers need to be connected with the provided speaker wire to the included wireless receiver module, which can be placed within 33ft of the soundbar. ~Samsung Solutions

• The rear speaker module can not be wired to the SB, it is only wireless. Then each rear speaker is wired to that module. I have speaker wires in wall running from back of TV wall to the rear wall ceiling places. This worked perfect for me to have the rear speaker module sit just behind the TV (wireless distance of 12 inches ) and then plug the wires from it to my wall jacks. Then I mounted the rear speakers in my existing wall mounts and it works great!
