Hi there! You will want to keep the subwoofer on the floor; we do recommend positioning it a few inches away from the front wall of the room where your soundbar is located, but the precise location will ultimately depend on what provides you with the best bass experience. The included wireless rear speakers need to be connected with the provided speaker wire to the included wireless receiver module, which can be placed within 33ft of the soundbar. It is recommended to place them behind where you sit to enjoy a better surround experience. ~Samsung Solutions
