• Hello Max! They will each require to be plugged into an outlet, and the length of the power cable for each rear speaker included with the HW-Q990D is approximately 5ft. ~ Samsung Solutions

• Yes, the rear surround speakers are wireless in that they do not need to be connected to the main soundbar or subwoofer. All speakers need to be individually plugged into a regular 2 or 3 prong electrical outlet to power their built-in amplifier and wireless transmitter.
