“My HW-S50A came with no directions as to how to get the remote open to install batteries, I can't get it open!!!!”

• You just have to slide it from the top. It took me a bit to get it open also. Now that it is hooked up to my tv, the sound is controlled with my tv remote so I don't even use the sound bar remote.
