“Is it hard to set up to my Samsung TV that is about 5 years old? I got a Yamaha sound bar and it was impossible to set up with my Samsung tv and sent it back.”

Hi jimjam! The HW-S50A requires an HDMI ARC or Digital Optical Audio connection to connect to. If your TV supports it, you can also take advantage of Bluetooth wireless audio technology. Check the back of your TV or consult the manual if needed to determine if your existing Samsung TV supports one of these three audio connections. ^Tim
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This sound bar is very easy to set up. Just plug it in go to sound control on your TV and it should connect to your Samsung. It comes on when I turn the TV on which is something my Sony Bar didn't do. No need for an extra remote.
