• It does not. It’ll turn blue when you first turn it on but then fades away and turns blue when you first turn it off but then fades away.

• In addition, when you raise or lower the volume, it does have a flashing/pulsing light that indicates the remotes command. I find I use this to verify the soundbar is working/on.
