With the adult only tablets kids usually have free range to everything. With this one you are able to put age appropriate apps when on kid mode and unless they know the passcode those are the only apps that will be available to them. This tablet gives you more control over how long what time of day and what apps they will have access to. It is also an adult tablet for as they get older and gain more trust and maturity.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ive had an older adult tablet and to me they are pretty much the same. Same size and when it is on the adult homescreen same everything. Th only difference in use is that you can switch to the kids screen and it has a ton of preloaded activities for kids. This woulf be a great tablet for moms or dads too cause you can just lock it on kids mode and hand it over :)
