I had success with it for my iPad but didn't work to well with my phone. but i have to say, if your staying all in the samsung family, i think it will work phone. nothing works better with samsung then samsung. its when you try to merge competitors where the problems start. You don't need a power cord to use it, but we use the power cord that came with our tablets to charge the phone or tablet as we watch Netfix, Hulu, Youtube or whatever we choose. This is worth the price. Great for vacation.
A:AnswerI ordered this and it didn't work with my Note 5. The adapter wouldn't fit in the charging port of the phone. It did fit in my Note 4 however, it still didn't show up on my tv.
