Hi TheSwede1, Yes you can! Make sure that the Sound Tower is plugged in for power and that the unit is turned OFF. Then press and hold the MUTE button on the REMOTE control for roughly 6 seconds. You will see the right side blink in red color. To turn it back On, repeat the process except the color will be white. ~Samsung Solutions
