NO....the one-connect should not be put in the wall. It is not UL rated to be an in wall installation. Can you physically put it in the wall to have no cords showing? Sure... But, if something happens and your house burns down, the insurance company will have a reason to not pay. It is NOT code for this to be in the wall.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I originally got the no gap tv mount with a Samsung Frame TV. The Frame TV fit very flat against the living room wall and it was awesome. I didn't like the TV picture itself, however, so I returned the Frame TV and bought a Samsung Q9 with the same frame basic cabinet design and a separate Samsung no gap mount (it wasn't included with the Q9 TV). Beware that the Frame TV allowed the TV to fit flush against the wall as there is an indentation in the Frame TV for the no gap mount to sink into. This is not true on the Q9 and I assume other Samsung TVs. I had to cut out the sheetrock and recess the mount before the Q9 TV would sit flush. That warning said about the mount, I did route the one connect fiber into through the living room wall and out on the other side into my office. This worked out well as I am able to house the one connect box within office my cabinets and it makes the living room installation look very clean.
