The other poster is clearly frustrated because they didn't do their research before buying and didn't get what they were expecting. Here is some information regarding the processor in this notebook. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I returned mine for a refund as well. It's a $500 product and that should be the expectation for where the bar is set. The reason I returned it is not because it is cheap. It's actually a decent value. However, the Vega 8 APU does not function correctly. It is supposed to boost to 1100MHz and most of the time it maxes out around 400-500MHz and does not function as advertised by AMD. The CPU part of the APU also seldom reaches its boost clock. The latest BIOS update from Samsung further impairs the CPU and reduces its usable boost clock by about 100Mhz. I presume this is to lower thermals and enhance battery life at the expense of performance. I would have likely kept it if the Vega APU functioned correctly. I did not expect much for $500, but I did expect it to function correctly. It looks nice on the outside and the chassis is well made for the price. For the average low-tech web browsing, Facebook-trolling, Twitter-tweeting consumer this is a decent option at a fair price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This computer sucks, don't get it. Compares nothing to even the i3. Very slow processor, very cheap components, etc. I bought it a few days ago and bringing it right back.
