• I am getting 8-10 hours with office-style use. I run at 40-50% brightness and do not notice any screen flicker.

• Its a Samsung LCD that uses PWM to lower brightness so it will flicker with less than 100% brightness. All PWM panel sensitive eyes should make sure whatever laptop they buy doesn't use this method before purchasing.
