The audio output is the regular 3.5mm aux
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good question. I am not sure if there is a speaker connection on the bottom backside of the monitor. There are two connections labeled Service which you can plug USB keyboard and mouse into the monitor, not sure if a speaker with a USB plug would work in either slot. I have a portable small JBL Bluetooth enabled speaker. My computer has a USB port on the front of the computer, but one on the back would work as well. I plugged the USB plug into my pc then ugged the other end which i think is micro C into the JBL speaker. Held down the power button on the speaker for a few seconds to put it in Pairing mode so it can be discoverable as a Bluetooth device. Then in settings on my pc i found Bluetooth Devices, clicked on the JBL speaker in the list and clicked Connect and that is all I had to do to get it to work with my pc. I tested it and it works great with games on pc or music like on YouTube for example on the pc. The portable Bluetooth enabled speaker can be any brand of your liking which Best Buy sells many different kinds. I hope this gives you an additional option besides a sound bar or big computer specific speakers. Good luck!
