QuestionWill this run 4K 120 on PS5?

- Answer I am running at 120hz 4k resolution, mostly playing warzone. Make sure you do the firmware update, it can be downloaded on the Samsung website. And change the HDMI port setting to AV. You shouldn’t have any problems as long as the game you are playing is capable of scaling to 120hz at 4k

QuestionI have the LG 27GP950 and it has TERRIBLE IPS glow from the corners that show during cutscenes. How is this monitor with black bar cutscenes?

- Answer I actually had the LG27GP950-B and exchanged it for this monitor for that reason. Despite being $100 cheaper, this monitor takes the cake. I have no IPS glow during cut scenes and the colors are phenomenal during 4k 120hz gameplay. I bought the LG thinking it was going to be the best but surprisingly I found it to be average at best. Definitely pick this monitor up. I also purchased the Spectrum monitor after a long pre order wait and it doesn’t even come close to what this monitor offers.

QuestionI recently bought this monitor. I downloaded the firmware up. The monitor reads my USB Drive but always stops before 20% and just says error. Any help?

- Answer Use a lower capacity USB drive (I used an old 1 gb stick) and make sure it's formatted as FAT32.

QuestionHow do you get the blue light in the back of the monitor to turn on?

- Answer Press the power button to pull up the menu. Next click menu. When you click on it, go to the game category and in the game category there should be an option that says core lighting. Once you click on core lighting, you can enable whether you want the colors you see on display to show on the front, back or both. This also has other options to choose from.

- Answer There is a 3.5mm jack near the hdmi ports on the back and it comes with a cable to plug into computer speakers that you have to purchase separately. I bough the Bose Companion speakers.

- Answer Different people different preferences but for an average gamer since i dont get enough gaming time its perfect also if you game in a dark room it looks amazing if you have alot of light it looks a little less bright but still amazing

QuestionHello I am am currently gaming on PS5 on a Samsung 55" NU 8000 PUHD Flat Smart TV 4K 2018, I mostly play Miles Morales Spider-Man on 4k 60hz and was looking to upgrade to 4k 120hz. Would this monitor be capable of running PS5 games at 4k 120hz?

- Answer Yes, mine supported 12 bit but the monitor is extremely poor quality. Check out my review where I took pictures showing fatal flaws in it.

QuestionThe wait on a input is only 3 seconds before it goes into stand by mode too short a time on boot up for me to get into the bios , is there a way to increase this time up from 3 seconds ?

- Answer In the display setting it has an option to change the onscreen display time to 5 sec, 10 sec, 20 sec, or 200 sec. Default setting is at 20 sec

- Answer Yes works perfectly but you have to go into System, PC/AV mode and set the HDMI you will use to AV. Mine looks incredible at 4K 120!!

QuestionUpdated firmware to 1004.0, changed it to AV mode, still performing at 4k/60hz and not 120hz. Is there a way to fix this?

- Answer I thought i had the same issue. I noticed while navigating through the main interface, it’ll say 60hz. But once you boot up a compatible game on PS5. The screen flickers and it’ll be 120hz. Checking menu to verify

QuestionGot this monitor in March of 2022, it's now March of 2023 and for several weeks now it randomly starts flickering. It does this when using my PC and on my PS5. I tried changing settings on the PS5 but it started flickering again. Anyone know how to fix?
