• It will physically plug in, yes, but a 1070 will not be able to run games at 1440p at 240fps (the specs of this monitor) unless they are very easy to run esports titles.

• This monitor would have served you well. I might have purchased the 27" at kept my gaming at 1080P for the 1070 but I'm sure you've moved on.
