Just ordered one directly from Verizon and confirmed the following: 1. The device is UNLOCKED 2. Can accept SIM cards from other carriers

I have the latest version of this LTE chromebook. Went straight into the headquarter store and they specifically stated they will not support this chromebook on any of their plans.
