• Just ordered one directly from Verizon and confirmed the following: 1. The device is UNLOCKED 2. Can accept SIM cards from other carriers

• Well, I purchased this chromebook via Verizon since I am with Sprint. Sprint doesn't support this LTE Chromebook. I have the latest version of this LTE chromebook. Went straight into the headquarter store and they specifically stated they will not support this chromebook on any of their plans.

• I would ask your carrier and/or a Best Buy Verizon associate. This specific Chromebook is designated LTE with Verizon.

• The Chromebook uses Wi-Fi for connectivity and is not locked to any carrier.
