I have wooden bumps here between carpets and hard floors, and the Airborne Copper will just go over them like an attack vehicle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Ours (used 2-3 times) got hung up on a raised lip between rooms one time, but handled other lips ok.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it's black .. NO
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model easily goes over a 3/4 inch barrier (wood threshold) between rooms. If it doesn't get over the first time, it backs up and goes at an angle and easily makes it over.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as it's a small strip yes. Mine goes from hardwood to carpet without fail
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Samsung specifies Powerbots can climb thresholds about 1/2 in high except 3/4 in in the latest 9350 Turbo model, which has new wheel treads flexing for greater traction. When a robot is tilted up to climb, it is hard to get weight onto the wheel contact with the edge of an obstacle, so the wheels slip. Most transitions in houses satisfy the height limitation, but some houses have less common fittings. It is possible to add wedge shaped, window and door framing molding to extend threshold with a ramp if worth the trouble.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have any problems with the vacuum going over the transition strips going from my hardwood floor to the laminate and back, or from the laminate onto the rolled tile.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Powerbot has 2 Large wheels that have independent suspension that allow it to go over transition strips quite easily
