Great vacuum!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vacuuming doesn't get done as often as it should around our house, but with this vacuum we just push the start button and off it goes! We were so amazed at how much it actually sucks up! After it has done a room you can tell it's been vacuumed!

Better than my shark upright
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use. Just charge it and push "play"! The appearance of my carpet is cleaner than after using my shark upright. We have dogs and run the "bot" every day. After a month, the hopper is less full every time which tells me it's gotten all that was missed by other vacuum cleaners and is getting ahead of the dog hair! We are older and vacuuming every day had become a real chore to the point I was considering a maid. The power bot make life easier for us! Takes about 30 min to do 1500 square feet. Gets around the furniture with no problems but it's too tall to get under the couch or bed. It's capacity is better than expected for power and dirt! It's not as loud as upright but it has silent mode if you want to watch tv! Excellent product that does everyday cleaning to military clean standards!

Great robotic vac
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Powerbot has many great features. It has great suction, the battery lasts about an hour and charging time is pretty quick. The collection cup is good size and doesn't need to emptied as often as others. If I had to give a couple cons regarding this product it would be that it does get stuck At times and has a hard time remembering its path. This doesn't happen often and since I have a bad back the vac is a perfect fit for my home and that's why I have 2. I would recommend this vac to family and friends.

OK, but way over priced.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does a decent job vacuuming. It's a little noisy, but if you're not home who would really know. My issue - for the price (since it's clearly at the high end), it should be able to navigate a normal house plan. I'm sure it would do great in a one room house shaped as a square. With multiple rooms, pass throughs, rectangles, furniture, a rug, and all of a sudden it can't seem to fully complete one room without randomly finding its way to some other room. It's like the thing has ADD. Oh look, squirrel, and off it goes It did always find its way home. I unleashed it on 4 rooms and a hallway. The hallway is great, the four rooms vary from 50% cleaned to 80%. It never did the same thing twice, some days it covered more of a room, some days it covered less. Too expensive for the shoddy performance. BTW it likes straight lines - better than the Roomba randomness. Problem is, the thing lists to one side - throws off the coverage pattern.

Best Vacuum I've ever bought!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We did our research on all the brands and models available. We were looking for a self-automated vacuum that would be able to keep our 3000+ sq ft floor and rugs clean since we have 4 kids, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Absolutely love this product from Samsung! Roomba was like a vacuum with ADD. It wouldn't leave our dining room and wouldn't go on any of the rugs. The samsung cleans the rugs and floors with ease. It hasn't gotten stuck and the entire floor and carpet was cleaned. It knows where it has been and where it needs to go. It knows what it is doing all by itself. I have set it to clean every morning at 8:00 and when I get home it is spotless. Yes, it is pricey but the time saved to do other things and the fact you don't have to mess with wires is definitely worth the price. Going to pick up a second unit for the upstairs! We did put aluminum foil over some of the sensors bc it did want to hesitate at first with dark colors but once we did - we've had no problems! I don't think we will be doing that with the upstairs model though!

Great Item to Help Clean
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can either set this up on an auto-timer or just select clean (4 stages of cleaning) when ready. It maps out all your rooms by mapping the ceiling, so it knows your rooms and if you change the furniture it doesn't mess up what it remembers about the room. It has a battery of 60 minutes and then finds its way back to its base to recharge then goes back to where it stopped and continues cleaning. I am always impressed with how much dirt it manages to find each week - and works on carpet, tile and hardwood

I did a lot of research and I'm glad I bought it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research and I'm glad I bought this robot. The list price is the same as the Roomba 980, but I got the Samsung on sale at Best Buy so I paid $200 less than a Roomba which I could not find on sale even though I looked for two months. I've had the robot for a month now. Works very well on our mix of hardwood and rugs. The bot won't climb up on our big thick shaggy rug, but I didn't really expect it to. It does climb up onto the other big thick rugs that aren't shaggy. The dirt compartment is very easy to empty. We have a cat and it picks up lots of cat hair. The noise level is better than I expected. Much less than our manual vacuum cleaners. We have lots of chairs and stools and although the bot does a pretty job getting around them, I put the kids' chairs and stools up on the table and counter so the bot can more easily get to all the kids' crumbs. The only disappointment is that it doesn't get under the overhang of our kitchen cabinets very well. But I just run a broom under the cabinets to push the dirt out where the bot can get it. The cat hid from the bot the first time we ran it, but now the cat just ignores the bot the same way the cat ignores the rest of us.

Robot Maid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have looked at robotic floor cleaners for years. Best Buy had one performing at its store when we were looking at Samsung appliances for our kitchen remodel. I asked to see it demonstrated & was very impressed with everything but its price. We did purchase Samsung appliances & the salesman offered a discounted price if we purchased it then - sold! We like its programming features & for keeping our home tidy we are very pleased. It can clean the entire floor (7 rooms) in one charging most of the time. It does not replace the heavy duty Dyson as you have to clean corners & under some furniture but less often. It is great if you are expecting company & run out of time. You also need to remove rugs with long pile, its just stops when it runs onto these. Being in our senior years it helps to have a little maid drop by.

Great Lil Vacuum!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like this Vac. It seems to learn the terrain as it goes and does a great job getting the floors clean. I had a Roomba before and the Samsung out powers that unit by far. The only con I have with the Samsung is that it's a bit taller and bulkier than the Roomba and it does not fit under my couch.

Excellent Machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is excellent. I had the lower Samsung model and traded up to this one. It now has several features I find essential: 1. It maps your house and identifies rooms where there are clear barriers/walls. 2. Once your house is mapped, it can be accessed from your phone and you can send it to a specific room in your house to clean and return. 3. It sends you a message when it is on the way to clean a room and sends another message when it has finished cleaning that room via a Chat. Overall, it does an excellent job of cleaning and gets into corners and will elevate the suction when it gets into corners to get any extra dust/debris. It also will clean the whole house but I prefer to send it to specific rooms and you can designate which rooms apply normal, maximum or quiet suction power. During quiet setting you can easily listen to television or have a conversation. This model has a few more horsepower and has never gotten stuck on rugs though it did get lost when it was able to get under a 4 legged chair against the wall. It was easy to lift the chair and it was on its way without a problem. This is different than the previous model which did seem to get stuck on a few rugs around my house. This model has not had that problem. I highly recommend this machine and have it set to do a weekly cleaning of the whole house but also clean different rooms when I am present.

Smart machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This robot works. It is slightly louder than expected and our rug does trip up its pattern slightly, but it really does the job. Does not run into your furniture or walls to cause damage. Can set it on a schedule to run everyday while I'm out of the house, and it goes back to its charging station when the battery gets low. Very powerful engine/suction

Great Vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had a couple of Dyson and Shark vacuumso over the years. This robovac works just as good, if not better. The suction is incredible and emptying the canister is simple. nothing is perfect and neither is this. Sometimes it would seemingly get stuck on things and shutdown but a quick press of a button and it starts up again. It learns the layout of the room that it vacuums via a camera and sensors. It's initially an annoyance, but does get better over time. Plus, it's fun to watch!

Robot vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has some problems going over different surfaces and gets lost underneath the dining room table. But, it does vacuum well and is certainly a big time saver.

Lots of great features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the remote. It works very well. Quiet function is awesome. Love the spot function where you point the remote at a,spot on the floor and it cleans there. It is my most powerful robot ( over Neato and roomba). Easier to clean than roomba and smarter than roomba but not neato.

Much better than other Robot "Vacs"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The one thing that stood out when I was comparing the Samsung Powerbot to the other models is that the Samsung is an actual vac with suction where as others just have brushes and push around dirt and rely soley on the beater bar to pick anything up. I also like the smart mapping it offers opposed to just randomly bumping into things until it runs out of power.

Great vacume for a older person. Easy to operate.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have been impressed with the amount of dirt it collects. We love how it goes around instead of running into things.and we don't have to worry about it falling down steps. We have a couple of tables whith narrow legs which I think the cameras can't detect so the vacume will try to go over them and get struck. Easy to fix just set something larger in front of legs and it will go around. It is not really noisy but we have 't tried out setting it to automatically vacume on a schedule yet. We are watching it to make sure it doesn't get stuck on items. We also love how it automacally will adjust and go over our small rugs we have in places.

Best invention ever!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I love this vacuum so much we named him Bruno. Not sure why but he looks like a Bruno. Anyways, this is probably by far the coolest thing I have ever owned. I highly recommend this device. You can schedule it to run at a certain time every day and it cleans everything and never has any issues. Defiantly a must have. I might buy another for my second floor.

Outstanding
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned several Roomba's in my day, but this is the first 'real' robot vacuum I've owned now that I've had it. We have a single story home, all solid surface minus a couple floor rugs, and two pugs. This robot thus far has flawlessly vacuumed our entire house better than I would do by hand, with one caveat I'll get to in a minute. The Good: Vacuums with a very organized and efficient pattern. Kind of like how a human mows the lawn. None of this random roaming and zig zagging aimlessly. It maps the entire home and goes over everything it can get to room by room. Has the largest dust bin I've seen in a robot vacuum - No need to empty half way through a session, even with our pugs hair - if you keep up with it regularly (every few days) Lots of suction - this is a VACUUM Doesn't bang into things but senses their presence, slows, and gently pushes up against them to get to the edge. Returns to its base and charges itself without error The Not So Good: The one wart this unit has is that it doesn't get under kitchen cabinet faces very well due to its height profile. All our other furniture is fine, but once a week or so we need to sweep under the edges of the counters. The loan caveat warranted a half a star in my opinion, but since I can't rate that way I have to choose the closest and 5 star is the better rating. Would I buy it again if it broke? This afternoon....immediately... Its a game changer for those with pets and keeping up with dander, dust, and hair.

Great cleaner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does a fantastic job. Very smart machine and has not let me down once unlike its competitors. Also has a 20 amp motor not a 2 amp motor like my previous model. It is a true vacuum cleaner, not a dust buster. I highly recommend this to my friends and family.
