I bought this because it was on a great sale for Mother's Day and I had $350 in rewards points. That made it more affordable. So far it has worked great! Our home has never been this clean. It does have to charge and finish up before its done, however we have a large home so this was expected given prior reviews read. Transitions smooth from hardwood to carpet. We run it in the middle of the night on an automatic programmed schedule and never hear it while we are sleeping. It does seem to get lost and stuck about 3/7 days of the week. Sometimes it just can't find the charging base, but I think this is because of the size of our home. Also it will get stuck sometimes under an end table or under chairs or bump into them when trying to get out. We have not had scuffs or damage to furniture or robot from this.It will not "dive bomb" off the stairs which is great. Easy to clean. Truly makes my life easier and serves its purpose. Given the time it saves me and the cleaning quality, I don't mind finding it stuck every now and then in the morning or helping it find home to charge. It leaves beautiful clean lines in the carpet so you can see no area was missed. Worth every penny! Cannot wait for another sale to buy it for other family members!

LOVE my Samsung - Powerbot Cleaning Robot Vacuum

I love Bob! ( aka Robert, aka robot vacuum, aka Samsung - Powerbot Cleaning Robot Vacuum ) Yes, we love him so much we refer to him by name and use personal pronouns! I purchased BOB for Christmas as a family gift. It is the best purchase I've made in years! I was worried that he may not get everywhere or leave things behind, but I figured it could do a better job vacuuming than my 13 year old does. I read a lot of reviews and decided on the Samsung. I did not go wrong. I found that if I programmed him to run during the night that if it was dark sometimes he would get a little lost or get hung up on things, so I decided that I would simply start him when I get up, that way if he did get hung up I would hear him beep. This works well. Bob does a great job. He does the entire downstairs in about an hour without needing a re-charge. I do sweep out from under the cupboards quickly because he can't fit under them, but that takes me 30 seconds. He does the rest. I am amazed at the objects he can get around and then pick up in a strait line from where he left off. He transitions from wood to carpet with ease. He leaves perfect lines in the carpet! Bob does not like hair ties, cat toys or phone charger cords. Make sure those are off the floor first. I have bragged about this vacuum to everyone I know. What a time saver. I can take him upstairs, set him to go and he finds his way into every room and does a great job. I am truly amazed and grateful that I found BOB!

Bought this for our vacation home in the woods. Spend about half of our retired lives there - All floors in lower level are tile so thought this piece of equipment would make life easier since our biggest issue is just dust from surrounding woodlands. Nicknamed it Sammy. Does a great job!!! Programmed to run on a schedule so when we arrive at house it has only been a day or two since last run. Seems expensive for what some people would consider a 'toy', but fits our current lifestyle well. May consider my wife & I a bit wierd, but we love to watch Sammy do its job - kinda mesmerizing. Love the product, but we realize it does have a specific application & purpose & not necessarily for everyone.

I was amazed of how well this vacuum cleans. My living room looked liked it was vacuumed with a traditional upright. Most of my house is carpeted. Really maps out the room well. Moves around the legs of our baby's high chair like it has 'eyes'. Very pleased with this purchase.

Samsung hit the mark. This sweeper is the best. I have tile and carpet which is not a challenge. I can run the first and second floor on one full battery charge. Totally worth the price, money well spent.

This vacuum works great over all. We bought it because we have two dogs that shed a lot. It has been used daily on our hard wood floors, (have not tried it on carpet) and does a good job of picking up dirt and fur. Did have to put a pice of tape on the side where motor is to re direct the exhaust. It was blowing fur around. One draw back, it does not fit under furniture, so we do have to sweep out from under our end tables and couch still.

The suction and beater brush on this unit is as effective as my corded unit which i have retired.I can empty the canister daily and it is full. I have set the daily auto vacuum and it brings itself home 95% of the time. It sometimes get caught on cords if you dont have them up and sometimes gets caught on a chair leg but overall its worked great.

It is one of three. I also have the robot duster, a Dyson and 3 dust mops to keep dust and crumbs under control. My husbands loves gadgets so this is great for him. It does a good strong job of vacuuming the area rugs. I use the Dyson every 2 days to keep on top of things.

I have never had a robot vacuum, so I will not compare the Airborne Copper with other options. My use case for this vacuum is a two-story house, with mixed carpet, bathroom tile and hardwood floors, and a few small rugs here and there. Some rooms have cables on the floor, both thick and thin. In some spots, the separation between carpet and hardwood happens with a short piece of wood (a "bump"). Conventional furniture. No cats, two small dogs. Vacuuming with a manual vacuum normally takes 1.5 to 2 hours. First, I set the Airborne Copper at the ground floor and let it go in Auto mode, Dust Sensor on. At this setting, the Airborne Copper moving algorithm will walk it into straight patterns, attempting to align with the wood grain, walls, or another room feature. I have found the vacuum performs well, going the full length and area of the rooms. If it does not visit some area of the room at first, it will eventually go back to that area after it finishes its search pattern and/or recharges. The walk algorithm is not random or bounce-and-restart. The obstacle avoidance system is composed by a number of sensors, such as infrared sensors at front, camera at top, bump sensor at front, void detection at bottom (to avoid falling down stairs), and motor strain (to detect when the motors are running but the vacuum is not moving due to being stuck somewhere). There might be a tilt sensor too, it appears. They work in conjunction and work well. The vacuum will stop before bumping into most obstacles, such as walls, and smartly recovers after bumping into something it could not properly detect. The weak point of obstacle detection are dark materials, in particular black furniture, low black shelves that sit above the height of the bump detector (the vacuum will not see them and will hit them, attempting to move forward until understanding it is stuck; only then it backs up). Curved furniture legs or soft ramps (such as legs that climb in a ramp) are also a weak point: the vacuum might not seem them, and then attempts to climb them, with a high probability of getting stuck. When the vacuum detects an obstacle, it will circle the obstacle in search of a clear path. There is a gap between the rolling brushes and the rest of the body that houses the wheels and motor. If the obstacle is a slim furniture leg, this leg might get lodged in between this gap while the vacuum is circling. When this happens and the vacuum cannot free itself, it will simply stop and cry for help (a soft alarm-melody plays for a while). Thick cables are usually not a problem. The vacuum will just climb over them and go about its business. Thin cables indeed might get sucked and tangle into the roller brushes. In one such occasion, the vacuum halted and cried for help. The power of the obstacle avoidance system, and one of the points that sold me for this product, was exemplified when the vacuum detected and delicately circled around one of my dogs who was sleeping on the floor, never touching him. Transferring the vacuum between floors proved seamless. The Airborne Copper will map the new environment and vacuum properly in straight patterns. As the battery is exhausted, the Airborne Copper will turn off the vacuum engine and trace its way back to the charging station. Sometimes it does this by tracing walls, sometimes it will follow an optimum path. And sometimes it will get lost and stop. I experienced that on my top floor, in which the charging station was installed in a room separated from the others by a bridge. The vacuum kept going to the wrong direction, which would put it into a room close to the goal but with no direct connection to it. The vacuum has a schedulers that works either with a daily schedule, or a one-time schedule. I would like to have a more advanced scheduler, which could allow different times per day. Finally, this is a vacuum, not a power broom. It does suck dirt, and it even sucked marbles and small toy pieces. The dust sensor makes it slow down the movement and increase the suction power while it detects dirt on the floor in repeated passes. It is not particularly noisy (much less than a conventional vacuum); there is a "silent" mode that decreases the suction power and resulting noise. In conclusion, I had to sell one leg and mortgage two arms to purchase this Airborne Copper. I come home to clean floors and tidy, vacuumed carpets daily without having to spend hours every week to manually vacuum (I have not used the manual vacuum since I purchased the Airborne Copper). It was worth every single penny of its price.

This is a great vacuum. The suction is fantastic but, it is a little wide. Has a little trouble around the dining room set. Other than that I would replace it with another when it goes to vacuum cleaner heaven

So I've been skeptical of this robot vacuum concept for a while but did some serious homework and looked at competing brands. The reviews for this product here and on other sites were definitely favorable, so I thought I'd give it a chance. Wow. Just wow. This thing is amazing, and has exceeded my wildest expectations. It vacuums very well, I use it once a week and it picks up things I wasn't even aware of. If you are looking for a product like this, I think this model will satisfy you!

I had a few concerns before the purchase on how intuitive the vacuum would be at things such as the layout of our first floor, multiple rugs, vents, chairs, etc. While not perfect we are very happy with how it handles these situations and others we hadn't even thought of. The cleaning power is impressive and we were very surprised it out-performed our aging Dyson. We have two labs and run it every few days and fills the canister every time (mostly with their dog hair). Only reason for the non-perfect rating is the fact that this one doesn't work with an app to have it clean a specific room like the new one and no upgrade path that I know of.

Features I like :1 . You can program it to run 2x per day. I have 2 toddlers so the house is a mess all the time. 2. The remote where you guide the vacuum where to go is a plus. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have the external side brush.. oh I almost forgot , did I mention that the motor has a 10 year warranty?
