We got this Samsung Powerbot on sale at bestbuy.com a couple of weeks after getting a Roomba (from a competitor with a generous return policy). We thought this fantastic sale was a great opportunity to really compare how this Samsung stacked up against the Roomba. Bottom line, this unit was ok but we found the Roomba did a better job. The Samsung got hung up once on a lip between rooms that the Roomba was able to handle, and the Roomba got corners better than this unit. With kids running around all the time, a lot of dirt, crumbs, etc. gets pushed into the corners, and the Samsung didn't seem to get them, while the Roomba's brush did (it extends outside the physical unit). Those two factors were enough for us. The Powerbot did a decent job, don't get me wrong, but the Roomba was better for our needs and, if it hadn't been for the amazing sale with Best Buy, the Powerbot would have been far more money for a lesser product. We returned this unit within the Best Buy return period and remain happy with our Roomba.

It is a great vacuum robot. I have two German Shepard and it does great job on cleaning my main floor. I have two problems. 1. It is just little to big and to clumsy, it is getting lost between chairs legs and stops. Maybe if it was an inch smaller it would work perfectly. 2. I have open floor plan and commonly it skips one of the rooms. And you definitely need help with corners and by the walls.

I love this vacuum. It cleans extremely well. My only complaint is that it keeps getting stuck in the same spots under tables or on the sliding glass door track. Can't let it run when I'm not home because I have to get it unstuck. Otherwise, it saves so much time. I let it vacuum a room while I can get other things done.

So I was doing research (Surprise surprise) and found out this has some serious suction. I love this product because I can set it to clean when I am away and I come home to clean floors (mix of carpet and wood). It also does a great job of getting into the corners!

This is an awesome product by Samsung. I like the idea of the canister that collects the dirt and dust verses other brands in which I also have and use. The only thing I have found is that it sometimes has difficulty going from the carpet to a rug otherwise it easy to use.

Vacuum does a very good job, yet needs little human involvement.

It is a powerful and quiet vacuum cleaner. There would be no problem, such as foreign stuff caught in the brush, if you do a little preparation like before you vacuum yourself then just let the Powerbot Samsung do the rest. I have a dog and I am glad I bought it. It really saves me a lot of time cleaning daily!

We also have a Dyson, and I prefer the power of the Samsung machine over it. The Samsung is a bit loud, but works really well. We use it mainly on hard surfaces for the pet food pick up. It does an amazing job without kick back.

Very efficient and covers a large area and holds quite a bit in the cannister before having to empty.

If you're tired of vacuuming every day then buy this robot to do the work for you. It's quiet and maintenence free. It has enough power for normal usage. It's not as powerful as a Dyson though.

not a bad vacuum, has great suction but i have hardwood floors with area rugs. it repeatedly will get hung up on the rugs..other than being load it works fine

Prior customer service experience was lacking with moneual. This Samsung is much better. However we haven't had to deal with any customer service issues regarding it so far. It's not like this company is going to disregard customer complaints compared to moneual I'm assuming. It is Samsung after all.

I bought this PowerBot almost a month now. My regret is once you buy from bestbuy, if you are not elite member you will only have 2 weeks to return your product. There are not so much to say, but I describe three things I don't like it. The powerbot will not hit wall but it does hit chair leg. It won't go over higher carpet. And there is a big rumble sound happen to my powerbot. I am about to take it to bestbuy for check it. Let see what will bestbuy say about the big sound.

this vacuum is amazing pickups up so much and does the entire house and recharges its self as needed. only wish it had wifi to hook to smart home app from samsung.

I like the design of this vacuum it is a real vacuum, money well spent, I give it four stars because it stuck easly, other wise it's a good product.

This Samsung Robot out performs the previous national brand that we replaced. It is quieter & has more power.

I just have to empty the dustbin! :D Great suction, always leaves the carpets clean.

It's expensive for a vac but so worth it. got it because with have 2 dogs and so far it's doing a great job with the hair and dust.

This is my first Robot Vacuum I've ever owned but I did online research for over 5 months before purchasing product. One of the first reasons for purchase over the other brands was this was a vacuum sucking vs sweeper... it works great and I love having the extra help wihtout having to pay extra for cleaning service..... Go Samsung!!
