“I have a pattern carpet and my old rumba refuses to do the black areas on this carpet. Which means still vacuuming a few times a week since everything shows up on the black. Does this model avoid black areas of a carpet?”

• No it doesn't. I actually tried using a black felt cloth as a barrier because I read you can fool the cameras on some robot vacs to thinking it's a ledge. The Samsung Powerbot went right over it without hesitation.
