• The wheels are coated in a silicone, so I think it'd be just fine.

• The brush itself seems relatively soft, and the wheels are rubberized. That said, I dont use it on my hardwood, though the instruction manual does discuss using it on hardwood.

• The wheels are rubberized. They are not hard plastic. I dont think rubberized wheels will scratch hardwood floors.
