No. Not at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It did not damage any of mine. It has done really well with carpets so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Turkish rugs with fringe and without fringe. The ones without fringe, no harm done. The ones with fringe, it got caught up on it. I had to just untangle it and move it. It's powerful, but it didn't damage my rug (THANK GOD!!). I ended up just closing the door to that room so it doesn't go in there. Also, to remedy this, I was thinking of just rolling up the ends of the carpet on the fringed sides so I can still use the device. When it's done, I can just unroll the carpet. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think it would damage the fringes, but would probably throw an error code of having something stuck in the brushrolll. It would be a little frustrating. I would probably set it up to ignore the part of the area rug with fringes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it would get stuck on them and tear them
