“Will this powerbot pass through bedskirts to clean under the bed? What happens when it meets an extension/power cord? Can it clean "plush" carpets? Does it really clean the areas where the flooring meets base moulding? Thanks.”

It cleans under our 2 bed skirts without a problem. It stumbles on extension cords but does not get stuck. IDK about plush carpets, ours are standard pile and it cleans better than our Shark. It does very well up to molding and in corners.
