• The POWERbot does not require Alexa to operate. The vacuum cleaning does offer Wi-Fi connectivity. You can connect the vacuum to the SmartThings app. Thank you for choosing Samsung for your home! ^Lena

• Neither Alexa or any other external control module is required to use the vacuum. The unit comes with a remote that can completely control the vacuum or you can connect via your smartphone or other device.
