Q: QuestionIs the USB adaptor 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, etc... trying to determine how much the transfer speed rate would be reduced by using the USB adaptor, the type of which is not specified. A system is only as fast as it's weakest point.

Q: QuestionIs this compatible with a Samsung galaxy a7 iPad?

• A:Answer If you are refering to Samsung tablet and/or phone, yes. As long as it has slot for sd card (possibly would be combined with sim card slot. But you said Samsung and I pad (I pad is Apple). So if you have Apple "I pad" product, I do not think they accept sd cards. You would have to use USB c or USB lightening drive that would go into charging port in order to transfer photos to/from device.
