“Can you set the Q990C system to play all audio in multi-channel (surround) mode? The goal is to turn on the TV, open Spotify on an Apple TV, and have music coming out of all of the speakers. Is this possible?”

Not sure if you received an answer but the soundbar links to smart things and has Spotify configuration available. It doesn't get to your way request so to achieve yours goal i dont see why it would be an issue. It would be like turning on any other app, i dont have an apple tv but most tvs as long as sound would come out of the tv speakers should be redirect to the surround system. Hope you got it worked out, after some messing around i got my system worked out and sounds amazing
