• I dropped my phone on the concrete one week after receiving the case I'm happy to say there was no damage to the case or phone.

• I don't know how high the drop rate is, but I dropped mine when getting out of my truck with no scratches or issues.

• Fortunately , Kayte, I've not yet had that experience, but I doubt that it offers the protection of much more substantial, larger, and heavier covers.

• It will protect the phone should one drop it. Well made case, it just did not have a ID and credit cards insertion inside the case like I like.
