• The dishwasher does *not* come with any electrical connection. You must buy a cable (or connection kit) kit that provides the connection type you prefer, whether it is a hardwire or electrical plug. Best Buy offers an installation kit, or you can source the components on your own (electrical cable, wire nuts, strain relief, water line, hose clamp/tube fittings as needed are the gist, but check the installation guide to double-check the precise items and sizes).

• You can hard wire, but if outlet is available in adjacent cabinet, buy the install kit which includes wire & plug.

• This unit comes with an electrical three prong plug. It would not be a good idea to hardwire the dishwasher as this would make if much harder to service if it ever becomes necessary.
