Is there a child safety feature esp when the cycles complete? I am concerned that the door auto opens after cleaning and my daughter would have access to kitchen knives etc.. null

There is the control panel lockout feature to disable the controls, but per Samsung's Support site, you can disable the AutoRelease function by going into the programming mode on the control panel. Go to Samsung's Support website and search for the model number and AutoRelease for instructions.

Yes, there is a child lock out option that disables the control panel.

I didnt see a safety function. We have used it twice and 5-15 minutes before it is done drying the door pops open about 6 inches.

There is an override function that you can program so it doesn't open automatically, if that's what you prefer.

This is just a guess from reading the description. I would assume there is not a child safety lock since the door pops open 5 inches after the cycle is done to aid in the drying.
