There is the control panel lockout feature to disable the controls, but per Samsung's Support site, you can disable the AutoRelease function by going into the programming mode on the control panel. Go to Samsung's Support website and search for the model number and AutoRelease for instructions.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is just a guess from reading the description. I would assume there is not a child safety lock since the door pops open 5 inches after the cycle is done to aid in the drying. Hope that helps.
