Regarding your concern, this is a side vent kit because it allows your Dryer to Be Vented to Either Side Depending on the Model. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is a side vent because we needed the dryer vent to come out of the side of the dryer to vent outside versus the back as most applications warrant. The dryer needed to be close to the back wall.
