If you need a side vent this kit is perfect. It will be nice if they will include the pipe that goes to the wall wich is adjustable. Because the hole on the wall is never aligned with the dryer vent.other than that product is good

Works well, a perfect fit, but it does come with too many options. With this kit, you will have the possibility to have the dryer exhaust in the right left, back, or bottom. Only used what the direction I needed myne to discharge, and the rest of the pieces are just there collcting dust.

The installer of my new Samsung gas dryer determined that there wasn't sufficient clearance in the space where the old dryer was located to vent the new dryer from the back and still meet local government requirements. Best Buy was the one place where I could get genuine Samsung parts to solve this problem. The side vent kit also works to vent the dryer from the bottom, and this is the method that my installer used. The vent works perfectly. The only downside is that the kit comes with more tubing that is needed for the bottom installation, so in that sense the kit was a little pricey.

This worked as intended. The instructions were pretty clear. I was able to install these without taking the dryer apart, which was nice. Annoying you have to purchase it and it isn't an included option when buying the dryer, but that is not a defect of the product.

The Samsung side vent kit was just what I needed to connect to services available in our small home, Easy installation. Saved me from jerry rigging something that would work like the dryer we replaced.

Very easy to use. I used this to side vent my dryer. Instructions were minimal, but it was very easy to understand. I did use vent tape to ensure that the fit was very secure. I was able to do it while it was stacked and set on the washer. It comes with extra pieces because you can do either side or below vent.

I bought a Samsung Dryer for my house I just bought. Unfortunately, the layout of the laundry closet was not able to work with a rear-exit dryer ventilation. This kit contained all of the pieces to convert my dryer to left side vent, which worked perfectly. Kit is well made with instructions that are MOSTLY complete depending on whether you decide to disassemble half of the dryer. Otherwise, you need to try to figure out what it looks like with your unit still assembled. In the end, I was able to install this kit in about 45 minutes without removing anything. Dryer vent is nice and sealed and venting outside as it should.

The side vent kit installed was beneficial for the Samsung Dryer to operate. The technicians were extremely careful not to damage the components of the side vent kit and properly installed the components without a problem.

Not sure i had to pay for this exact item as installer wondered the same thing. I am not sure if others that were readily available were universal. I had to purchase this exact one due to stackable washer dryer combo in hallway was slimmer than expected. Every cm counted!

Had to spend extra time with Samsung to find out if this kit would work with our dryer (the one they recommended couldn't be found anywhere.) they said it would work, so I purchased. The instructions are pretty rotten and things didn't line up exactly as pictured/planned. Also, very difficult to get ducting tape around joints assembled inside the dryer. Lots of work. That being said, it did allow us to side vent our dryer and is functional!

Used this kit to side vent my new Samsung dryer; worked great, included instructions were very helpful. Wish you didn't have to spend $50 for all possible configurations - I only used one piece and the vent cap - but on the whole, very useful.

Had to have it to complete the job. They were not allowed to do it so we did. Installation Guys were very good. Kept me informed. It was a little tricky. But we got it done. Very happy.

We popped the the vent cap off the side vent, installed the kit, and hooked it up in less than one hour. It really made a difference in the space in our laundry room being able to push the dryer back about 8 inches. I definitely recommend if you need more space in your laundry room!

Product was good, the directions could have been a little clearer as to which pipe to start with. Once we figured it out, it was not too bad to complete. The kit should include a few self tapping screws to secure the pipe when assembled.

Worked great for what I needed it for. Specifically the side venting option. Don't forget to tape the joints internally.

This kit made it possible to redirect the exhaust from my clothes dryer. Now, the dryer sit closer to the back wall.
