No it's not, it's built in/attached to the back middle section and only moves enough to put your hand in the back to hold as leverage.

You cannot remove the strap, plus when closed the strap covers the closing point of the phone to protect it against scratches

Yes the strap is removable so you can change colors or just replace it due wear and tear
