• If they steal the SD card, then you will lose all of the video. However, all is not lost. The camera does upload a still photo to your Picasa account approximately once every 10 seconds while it is detecting motion or audio events, so there is a chance you will get some pictures of the thief. Not as helpful as having the full video, but it's better than nothing.

• hide the camera in plain sight or place it inside something. but you have to ventilate the camera or it will overheat.

• If you are asking about being able to view the videos, you can't. The videos are stored locally on a SD card. You can configure the camera to upload pictures to Picasa with your google account however. This is a downside of having local storage, but the huge upside is no monthly/yearly cloud storage fees.

• you can save motion detection pictures to picasa so even if a burglar steals the camera and sd card, the images are already stored in the cloud

• You should be able to set up to record events on the Samsung SmartCamera web site.
