Yes you can position it anywhere. They also have an out door cam too. I plan to add to the ones I have. They can bee attached to the wall or ceiling or you can sit it on a shelf.

Yes, it should work fine. For better picture quality make sure the sun doesn't hit the window by the camera for glare and if the the sun does come in the window were you place the camera make sure it doesn't radiate too much heat and kill the camera.

No problem at al. Just test to see if do not have glare from the sun, allowing you clear video when you need.
