• Not waterproofed. No weather seal. Unit stand on flat surface and no mounting options. But you can drill holes on the base to mount. You can put in dry area to monitor, but you need to have a power source to plug in. It will pick up any motion in the frame. No control over frame area for motion.

• not waterproof. I use it to monitor outdoor from inside a window. if outside light level is low turn off ir lights and night vision will be awesome (night vision "on" @ dashboard below picture)
