A:AnswerHello! Plume is integrated with SmartThings Wi-Fi and is included with your purchase. While setting up the Plume application is not required in order to use the SmartThings Wi-Fi System, we do recommend using the Plume app for an even smarter Wi-Fi network. Thank you! ~Samsung Brand Ambassador

A:AnswerYou don’t if your house is small enough, you can buy just two but may cost close to three anyhow. It’s just how they package to fit most homes needs.
A:AnswerIt does not work with the 1st gen Samsung connect homes.
It will only work with the new model of it self.
I had 6 Samsung connect homes...
Upgraded and got 6 more of the new model...
Old connect homes are not compatible.
The reason I upgraded to the new one (525) for its anti virus, AI learning and it has more features and menus and stuff to change :p
I sold my 6 older connect homes as they dont pair or sync to the new model.
A:AnswerI believe that you can only set up one with ethernet from the router. Though I use Ethernet out .from the two satellite units. Going to my computers and a Thundebolt hub and it seems to do great all around.
