Yes but, You can buy an alarm to tie into the system, thats what I did. Any zigbee devices work with samsung and work flawless. I have it so if its armed, the sensors tell temp as well as open close, so I set rhe temp to 105 so if a fire happens the alarm triggers as well. Lots of uses
