“When this auto releases at the end of a cycle, does the door fully open to be all the way down? If yes, does it move the door slowly down so that children nearby can move out of the way and not be hurt? Does it make a warning noise just before opening?”

JohnL, the auto-release door feature only pops the door open by an inch or two, just enough to release the steam and dry out the dishes. It normally happens between the 5-15 mark before the cycle ends. Have a great day. ^Charles
