“How well does this model dry? Will it mostly dry plastic? I’m thinking baby bottles and toddler plastic plates in the top section? My other dishwasher left everything soaked!”

Crappy. the door pops open and it steams and there's water on top of all items on the top rack.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was very surprised how well it dries for not having a heated dry option. We had an old Kenmore dishwasher with heated dry and it would leave a little water on mainly plastic. When we got this new Samsung dishwasher I read in the manual if you use sanitize rinse it improves drying. Since sanitize rinse is such a high temperature it gets the dishes hot and they come out bone dry. I tried a normal wash without sanitize rinse and the dishes still came out dry but some of the plastics had a little water on them. I’ll probably leave sanitize rinse off to save a little time in the wash cycle because the very little amount of water left is not a big deal and I’m happy with his performance.
