That would frustrate me too! The door on my unit stays open and down without having to weight it with the lower rack. I'll go out on a limb here and guess that maybe your springs aren't set right. I have not seen any mention of this in the Owner's and Installation Manuals. I'd try contacting Samsung directly (or a certified repair service).

Please try again later.My first store did that also but then they’ve had to replace the door twice because it kept leaking the jet dry detergent wouldn’t stay in when I poured it in it would just come leaking down the door now the door stays open when I close it but my dishes still do not dry this dishwasher is highly unrecommended… It only gets worse

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you have it bolted in place? When you open it, do you have the bottom tray completely out? I found that you need to do both of these things to keep it open. Hope that helps.
